Conservations

Durham Wildlife Trust’s Conservation team manages a variety of species and habitat protection projects. Working with the public, policy makers and planners, the Trust’s aim is to develop a multi-agency approach to nature conservation.

A range of public participation surveys enable the Trust to collect and analyse important data about County Durham’s wildlife. This information is used to inform future conservation activities.

Durham Wildilfe Trust can offer specialist advice on wildlife issues including Environmental Stewardship. The Trust is currently completing Farm Environment Plans and Entry and Higher Level Stewardship Applications on behalf of farmer and landowners. For more information please click HERE.
